New Album?! Oh goodness I can't wait!!

So even though I'll have to wait untill next year to hear the new beautiful songs that Chris Carrabba has composed for me (yes, ME!) I'm really excited because I just found out that he'll be releasing some of his songs before the year ends...THAT'S LIKE WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE MONTHS!!! Holy Moley. Plus, thanks to Gina, I heard he's working with a bunch of bands that are popular and unpopular on a "side-project", which is CRAZY COOL!! He also said that his new album in kind of "Weezer-esque" if that makes any sense at all. And I flippin' love Weezer! Well to any of you who haven't heard of Dashboard Confessional or Weezer...listen to them!!! They are the best! And here is some of the other albums I've listened to like 100 times on my ipod:

Dashboard Confessional's "The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most" ("Saints and Sailors" and "Screaming Infidelities" are my personal favorites off the album)

Jack's Mannequin's "Everything In Transit" (Okay, this album has completely changed the way that I look at music. I can't listen to another album without comparing it to this one!! Nothing can top it! I couldn't even begin to chose a favorite off of this masterpiece! But for anyone who hasn't heard it, I would start off by listening to "Dark Blue" the catchiest song ever! Thanks Gina for introducing me to this amazing band! I love Jack's Mannequin!)

Ben Fold's "Rockin' The Suburbs" (Ever since I listened to their latest album, I've fallen in love with Ben Folds, although I think that this album is better than their newest. I really like "Annie Waits" it's a good song.)

And lastly...Joshua Radin's Simple Times (Joshua Radin has a gorgeous voice-not as gorgeous as Chris Carrabba's- but if you like John Mayer, then you'll like Joshua Radin even better. The song that's always stuck in my head is "I'd Rather Be With You")

Go Out And Get Yourself A Darn Job!!

So the next step that I've realized I need to take in "growing up" is getting a job. I applied this week-end for a job at Best Buy, Papaya, and Wet Seal. I really want to get the job at Best Buy because then I'll be working in the Music area and that would be PERFECT for me. But, we'll see...if I don't get the job at Best Buy, then I'll still get discounts on clothes if I work at Papaya or Wet Seal. Hopefully since, the holiday season is approaching there will be more of a chance I can get hired. Plus, I need the money! My cell phone was stolen the other day and I have to save up the money to buy a new one...maybe if i pay for it then i can also convince my parents to let me have texting!! I am "growing up" after all! Plus, I need to save up for a car!! And I really want to go to Dashboard Confessional's other concert next year with Andrea and Gina (IN THE FLOOR SEATS) HECK YEAH!! And Gina's birthday is coming up soon and I need to buy her the La Roca album! And...next Saturday I'm going on a Group Date with a bunch of LDS people from school, so that should be fun!I love being 16!!
