Got the IPod Touch!!!!

So i got the ipod touch for Christmas and it's the coolest thing EVER!! it's only the 8 gig and i've already filled it up to the brim with songs (i had no idea how big my itunes library is...) but i can access internet from it and go onto facebook to chat with everyone which is really convenient and i can go onto itunes from it!!! it's so coool!!! but i definantly know what i want to get next year for Christmas or even my birthday...i want that record player!!! i saw one at target for around $100 which doesn't seem that bad so i definantly want it!!!

i also went to Hot Topic the other day...which was kind of wierd since i don't go very often but i went looking for a Dashboard Confessional t-shirt (and failed to find one) but i got a "The Academy Is.." t-shirt and it's so awesome!!! there was such a huge selection of band t-shirts that I LOVE so i'm gonna have to go again and get some more because spending $20 on a shirt THAT COOL is totally worth it!! hopefully next time they'll stash up on some Dashboard shirts. anyway...it was also really wierd because i saw "avoigin" there. i don't know why i was as surprised as i was, i mean you'd think she practically lives there but anyway...MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

"Folie A Deux"

So i got the new Fall Out Boy album this week and i must say...I'm impressed!! i'm usually not a huge fan of Fall Out Boy just because it seems like EVERYONE listens to them and i'll admit i've liked a few songs off their previous albums but i've REALLY enjoyed "Folie A Deux"!!! "I Don't Care" is obviously a popular song right now but i have a feeling that "America's Sweethearts" is gonna be the next hit off of this album. Another one of my favorites off of the new album is "Pavlove"...
EVERYONE SHOULD CHECK THIS ALBUM OUT!!

My Top 10 Albums I listened to NON-STOP this Year!!

1. The Glass Passenger- Jack's Mannequin (as always, every song on a Jack's Mannequin album could be listened to over and over and still not get old)

2. OK Okay- La Rocca (I got this for Gina for her birthday because she was DYING to have it and i bought it on itunes so i could have a copy...IT IS SUCH A GOOD ALBUM!! i love la rocca!)

3. The Shade of Poison Trees- Dashboard Confessional (everything on this album is crazy good, even the cover art is sick!! but none of the songs are as good as listening to him sing it live! gosh i can't believe i can truly say that!!)

4. Like Vines- The Hush Sound (just recently got into this band and i really like them. i already blogged about this album so i won't say too much. i think i'm close to busting my cd player with the amount of times i've listened to this album)

5. Simple Times- Joshua Radin (i am in love with this guy! his voice is so beautiful! one of my fav albums of his)

6.Sometimes- City and Colour (this album is a great one to listen to in the car on a rainy day! it's by Vagrant Records- the same that produces Dashboard Confessional's album- so you know its gotta be good!)

7. Unfold- Marie Digby ( I got hooked on Marie Digby when i saw her youtube video! she put out her first album this year and I LOVE IT!! she's been featured on Smallville and a ton of other shows! i love her voice!)

8.Don't Look Away- Kate Voegele (great female vocalist! Gina introduced me to Kate Voegele and i love her! her songs have been on the sisterhood of the traveling pants 2 and One Tree Hill...she is fabulous and her debut album "Don't Look Away" makes me really excited to see what she's gonna come up with next!)

9.Way to Normal- Ben Folds ( i freakin' love ben folds! there music and videos are hilarious and so catchy!! You Don't Know Me is obviously the best song off of this album)

10. Here We Stand- The Fratellis (i first heard the fratellis in...a movie theater. lol it's pretty lame, but i fell in love with their music! gina thinks i'm wierd for listening to them but "Chelsea Dagger" is one of my top 10 songs EVER!! at least for now, i always change my mind.)

Keep Up the Good Work Chris!!!

I am so excited to see what this "lyrical GENIOUS" has in mind for the new Dashboard album-due out next year- I am positive that it will be inspirational and loaded with FABULOUS songs. I can't begin to tell you how eager I am to listen to Chris Carrabba's new creations!!
GOOD LUCK, CHRIS!!!

These Guys Crack Me UP!!

Jeff Dye!! Not only is he funny, but I think he is so hot!! My favorite one of his youtube videos is Cheez-its and Me!!

Barats and Bereta!! These guys are hilarious, and surprisingly NOT LDS (wierd). Anyway, their video Bible In A Minute is CRAZY!!

Ryan Gosling: I never realized how funny this guy was until I watched this interview of him on Ellen!

Steve Nash: I loved this interview from last year when he chipped his tooth! He's so funny!

Andrew McMahon!! I found this video of him making fun of Something Corporate. It's pretty funny, although whenever this guy opens his mouth he says something humorous.

Such a GOOD Album, Such a GOOD Band

So I've got another band and album to add to the list of my "All-Time favorites"!! The band is called The Hush Sound and the album that I've fallen in love with is "Like Vines". Basically every song on this album is great, but some of my favs are "Red Wine", "We Intertwined" and "Lighthouse". The female lead singer Greta Salpeter has an amazing voice and she is an excellent pianist for the band! I love that the singers in this band mix up the vocals a bit and it's not just one singer in every song! They've all known each other since Jr. High and it really shows by how "in-synch" they all are with each other!! Everyone should definantly check them out!

Alright...Maybe I should Hold My Horses a bit.

So about the last post I made...I was partially true. The Phoenix Suns did make a trade for Raja Bell and Boris Diaw and in return they got Jason Richarson from the Charlotte Bobcats. He made his debut as a Sun last night in their win against Orlando and he scored 21 points!! He played really well considering he hasn't even practiced with the team yet! I'm really excited to watch this guy because he's really fired up the rest of the team offensively and he showed to have a lot of energy in last nights game! So I've realized that before I do my "pouting" I need to realize not to jump to too many conclusions. This guy is a two-time Slam Dunk Champ and he's an excellent shooter, so I can't wait to see more of Jason Richardson!!

It's Official! My Phoenix Suns SUCK!!!

So even though I know that everyone will automatically ignore this post since nobody wants to hear me rant on and on about the Phoenix Suns, but I just had to make a post about how upset I am!! I am really ashamed to be a Suns fan!! They've lost their past 4 games and it doesn't look good!! Alright, I call it right now! Sometime within the next 2-3 years the following will happen:
1. Shaq won't be around (duh, he'll be retired)
2. Steve Nash will be traded (tear)
3. Amare Stoudemire will go into the free agent pool in 2010 with Lebron James, D-Wade, and Chris Bosh.
4. Either Boris Diaw or Leandro Barbosa won't be on the team anymore.
5. Grant Hill won't be a Sun.

*Basically, the only hope the Suns have is their Rookie, Robin Lopez! Because the rest of the team doesn't even seem like they want to play anymore. And the only enjoyment the fans of Phoenix are gonna see is the All-Star Game in Phoenix this year and hopefully Amare, Shaq, and Steve Nash will be on the Western Conference team!! I've voted for them for the past month!! It just seems right for Shaq to be on the team this year because he wasn't last year and, I mean, SHAQ IS THE ALL-STAR GAME!! He brings all the entertainment and fun!! So, the only thing I'm looking forward to at US Airways Center is the All-Star game. And hopefully, Robin Lopez will be in the Rookie/Sophmore game!!

So I've decided I need to look for another favorite NBA team to watch.
I predict that it'll be Boston and L.A in the finals again this year because they're the only teams that are actually playing consistantly good! But I hate the Lakers, so I'll be rooting for Boston again!

(sigh) It's gonna suck not being able to cheer for the Suns anymore. I'm gonna be really upset if they lose Nash and Amare because they are the only entertaining players!!

Well, sorry about that for all of you who actually did read this post to the very end because you're probably thinking I'm a FREAK! But "hey"!! I LOVE my Phoenix Suns and I HATE to see them lose, but it looks like their gonna be doing that a lot lately. But if there is one thing that Steve Nash can do is...MAKE ME ROLL ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING!! JUST WATCH THESE VIDEOS!!

Happy Birthday, Gina!!

The "16" Things I love about Gina...(i could say more, but because she just turned 16 i'll say 16)
1. She understands me, even when people probably shouldn't...but somehow she still does!
2. I can't think of one thing that she likes that I don't like...
3. She got me hooked ( i mean HOOKED) on GOOD music! I don't listen to the top 40 lists anymore!
4. We could talk for hours about different television shows and have the same opinions as each other...(except for the whole Brooke-Lucas and Peyton-Lucas thing, but we won't discuss that)
5. Even when their's nothing- i mean, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to talk about or laugh about- Gina and I always find something!
6. She was the only one who would stay by me and skate really slow at her birthday party, even though she didn't have too! And she taught me how to GLIDE on the ice!! It's amazing!! And scary...
7. The CRAZIEST AND WILDEST things happen at her house and keep me very entertained! lol.
8. She doesn't get mad at me or at least she doesn't show it.
9. I could NEVER see the two of us getting into a major fight.
10. She makes 2 or 3 years of friendship seem like a lifetime!
11. She knows how to make the ABSOLUTE BEST FOOD IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!
12. She is the only person who i can look at during the "El Scorcho" song and we both know when to shout at the same time "I'll bring home the turkey if you bring home the bacon!!"
13.There's NEVER a dull moment with her! We always come up with tons of inside jokes!
14. She agrees that Jarosz is a man!!
15. She keeps me sane...I mean I don't think there is anyone else on the planet who knows exactly when to tell me to shut-up at the right time before I go bizzerk! That doesn't mean I always listen to her, but she still knows the right time to say it.
16. She is one of my closest and bestest friends EVER!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GINA!! LOVE YA!!

I've Found My New Dashboard...sort of

So I've always had this band on my ipod, but I guess it was just to say that I had them so that if Gina ever tried to pull a fast one I could say that I knew them...but I acutally listened to them this week and I love them!! The band's name is There For Tomorrow and it wasn't until I saw them at the MTVU Woodie Awards that I decided to start listening to them. Well, I only have one of their albums and honestly? EVERY SINGLE SONG IS FANTASTIC!! I'm kind of dissapointed because they really only have one album out that's recent and their one from 2004 isn't all that great. Anyway, everyone should listen to There For Tomorrow because their AMAZING!! Especially Andrea, because I know that if she is in love with The Cab I would definantly recommend this band! Even though their lead singer isn't as good looking as Chris Carrabba, but then again...who is?!?

Almost done!!!

Okay, so I am finally almost done with a script that I've literally been working on for forever!!! And it works out perfectly because its a Gilmore Girl's 2 hour holiday special called "I Saw Rory Kissing Santa Claus" and I finished it just in time for the holidays! So...Andrea? Gina? Get ready to read through 2 notebooks worth of writing because it's gonna be a good one! (sigh) I love when I finish scripts. And Andrea you gave me the BIGGEST compliment ever when you said that the new episodes of Smallville have confused you because you can't remember the difference between my scripts and the actual show!! Thanks! That's Crazy! Well, I've definantly got some funny moments in this script and some cute Rory-Jess moments! I know you've been dying to read some (Andrea). But now you HAVE to get started on OUR tv show script. I mean, "HELLO! I at least got you started on it." It's so crazy...I mean...we're the creators of a tv show! WIERD!
P.S.
Gina if you don't mind maybe we'll have you as our music director and once we finish the first episode you can select the music. How's that sound? I mean, all it's doing is preparing us for the future, right? lol. We're gonna be famous!

Officially the BEST TV Couple Ever!!

Here are some of my favorite Youtube videos of Jess and Rory...

Okay...Make that 2 dates for Saturday!!

So, when I found out that my date wasn't taking me over to this huge group date @ Kahzia's house and instead we were going to the Mesa Art Museum I was kind of dissapointed (but not that a have a date! that would be rude!) So, Kahzia convinced me I should just ask someone to go with me and i did and he said yes. So I have 2 dates today and I'm so excited, but hopefully they won't run into each other like in the movies when the girl has 2 dates and she ends up being late to the other (how akward) Anyway, I really hope that this guy calls me soon because he still doesn't know where I live and I'm gonna really be upset if he doesn't end up going with me. Well, I'll let everyone know by the end of the day how things go.

Ugh! My brother is sooo lucky!

So this was a while back, but my brothers devon and ryland are THE luckiest boys ever because they met Rudy Carpenter!!(i'll admit-he's not all that good looking) but i think he is the sexiest college football player out there!! Gosh he was so lucky! I mean look how close they got!!! Andrea and I are so jealous!

"Hey Mommy...look at the Kitty" I'M A BUNNY!!!

Okay, so besides making a complete fool of myself on Halloween...NOBODY KNEW WHAT I WAS!! Well, Halloween was fun, but flippin' scary! So I went to Gina's house to watch Prom Night and basically throughout the whole movie, the guy stabs people. Right after we finished watching the movie, Gina's mom came upstairs to tell us that an old guy had been stabbed on their street! I literally peed my pants!! Creepy! When my mom came to pick me up and kept saying "drive faster, mom!"

Bye Bye Volleyball (tear)....WHOOHOOO!!!!

More Pictures from the Concert

So instead of using pics that are Andrea's I finally was able to upload my pictures and videos from the Rockband Live concert to my computer... Isn't he just so sexy?

The Holy Book of Promos

Dear Reader,
Hello! I am the Holy Book of Promos! I know, I look a lot older than I probably am, but you see...there were three girls who "man-handled" me through much of their Jr. High years. Boy have I got stories to tell you, or should I say promos to tell you. Well, these three crazy girls took the time out of their school days and even their week-ends to write random promos for some of their favorite tv shows. And let me just say that one girl *cough*cough* Andrea *cough*cough* had some pretty eccentric things to say. For example "Don't forget to put your pants on" or "the naked ice sculpture". But we will keep her identity anonymous. Anyway, now I reside in Tobie's desk drawer covered in dust because these three girls have moved on to bigger, better, hopefully more mature things and I will remain hidden from the rest of the world.
Farewell,
The Holy Book of Promos

New Album?! Oh goodness I can't wait!!

So even though I'll have to wait untill next year to hear the new beautiful songs that Chris Carrabba has composed for me (yes, ME!) I'm really excited because I just found out that he'll be releasing some of his songs before the year ends...THAT'S LIKE WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE MONTHS!!! Holy Moley. Plus, thanks to Gina, I heard he's working with a bunch of bands that are popular and unpopular on a "side-project", which is CRAZY COOL!! He also said that his new album in kind of "Weezer-esque" if that makes any sense at all. And I flippin' love Weezer! Well to any of you who haven't heard of Dashboard Confessional or Weezer...listen to them!!! They are the best! And here is some of the other albums I've listened to like 100 times on my ipod:

Dashboard Confessional's "The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most" ("Saints and Sailors" and "Screaming Infidelities" are my personal favorites off the album)

Jack's Mannequin's "Everything In Transit" (Okay, this album has completely changed the way that I look at music. I can't listen to another album without comparing it to this one!! Nothing can top it! I couldn't even begin to chose a favorite off of this masterpiece! But for anyone who hasn't heard it, I would start off by listening to "Dark Blue" the catchiest song ever! Thanks Gina for introducing me to this amazing band! I love Jack's Mannequin!)

Ben Fold's "Rockin' The Suburbs" (Ever since I listened to their latest album, I've fallen in love with Ben Folds, although I think that this album is better than their newest. I really like "Annie Waits" it's a good song.)

And lastly...Joshua Radin's Simple Times (Joshua Radin has a gorgeous voice-not as gorgeous as Chris Carrabba's- but if you like John Mayer, then you'll like Joshua Radin even better. The song that's always stuck in my head is "I'd Rather Be With You")

Go Out And Get Yourself A Darn Job!!

So the next step that I've realized I need to take in "growing up" is getting a job. I applied this week-end for a job at Best Buy, Papaya, and Wet Seal. I really want to get the job at Best Buy because then I'll be working in the Music area and that would be PERFECT for me. But, we'll see...if I don't get the job at Best Buy, then I'll still get discounts on clothes if I work at Papaya or Wet Seal. Hopefully since, the holiday season is approaching there will be more of a chance I can get hired. Plus, I need the money! My cell phone was stolen the other day and I have to save up the money to buy a new one...maybe if i pay for it then i can also convince my parents to let me have texting!! I am "growing up" after all! Plus, I need to save up for a car!! And I really want to go to Dashboard Confessional's other concert next year with Andrea and Gina (IN THE FLOOR SEATS) HECK YEAH!! And Gina's birthday is coming up soon and I need to buy her the La Roca album! And...next Saturday I'm going on a Group Date with a bunch of LDS people from school, so that should be fun!I love being 16!!

Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!

OMNBCL!! The Suns game on Wednesday was soooo goood!!!!! Even though they lost, it was all worth watching the fight that broke out between the Houston Rockets and the Phoenix Suns!! Thank goodness we've got Shaquille O'Neal to stand up for our team, because once Steve Nash got pushed to the ground by Tracy McGrady, Shaq bull-dozed into him and knocked him on his butt!!! Nobody better mess with the Suns for a long time! Say 'Ello to our Little Friend...SHAQ!!! If you want to check out the video, i have it posted on the side of my blog.

RockBand Live Concert: Panic At the Disco, Dashboard Confessional, Plain White T's, and The Cab!!!

On Wednesday night gina, andrea, and I finally went to the concert! It was so much fun! I can't even begin to describe how crazy it was! Dashboard sang all of my favorite songs and I belted them out with Chris Carrabba (the lead singer)especially El Scorcho!! I love that song! Andrea is now totally obsessed with The Cab and she won't stop singing their songs. We left early because we thought Panic At the Disco's set was boring, but other than that it was the best concert EVER!! I can't believe I can now say that I was in the same building as Chris Carrabba! I mean, i was literally 50 feet away from his beautiful face!!Well, thanks Gina and Andrea for making it the best night ever! And thanks to my mom for paying and taking us there! I'm definantly gonna have to save up for Dashboard Confessional's other tour after they release their new album next year. Sorry we couldn't go to the Jack's Mannequin concert Gina.
